Description
Safe, High-Strength Performance
The Hi Lift jack is a highly effectively off-road and expedition tool for vehicle repairs and recovery. It can also be highly dangerous as the jack has a bad habit of wanting to slip out from under the vehicle during lifting. Our Hi Lift Shackle removes this danger by providing a secure, no-slip, fully pivoting mounting point for the Hi Lift jack that allows the jack to align properly to the load without jamming or damaging the bumper. Or the user. The Alpha A/T front bumper includes two dedicated Hi Lift jack cutouts in the bumper structure, but even with these jacking points the jack can become trapped by the bumper structure if the vehicle tips, causing damage to the bumper body and the coating. The Hi Lift Shackle mounts in two dedicated mounting points on the Alpha A/T front bumper outer sections (stub and standard width) and can be used in the two GearMount mounting points as well, giving you four mounting point options on the Alpha A/T front bumper. It will also work with our Omega A/T Twin Rear Bumper System and side rail systems. The Hi-Lift Shackle is CNC machined from 7075 T-6 aluminum and then 2-stage powder coated in high contrast recovery yellow. Fasteners are grade 8.8 and OE-grade triple coated for maximum corrosion protection (1000+ hr salt spray test).

Service Applications and Limitations
The Hi-Lift Shackle is designed for use with the Hi-Lift jack and similar jack devices. It is compatible with all Pronghorn Alpha A/T front-end and Omega A/T Twin rear-end systems. It is also compatible with factory frame jacking points in various Land Rover vehicles. The Hi-Lift Shackle has a 6,000 lb minimum breaking strength. It is not intended for recovery use other than in conjunction with the Hi-Lift jack.
Materials
The Hi-Lift Shackle is constructed from CNC machined 7075-T6 aluminum. The rust-proof, lightweight and high-strength qualities of this aluminum alloy are well suited to this application providing long term corrosion resistant durability and performance.Corrosion and Coatings
This aluminum design doesn’t need coating at all to withstand rust and we could ship them uncoated without issue. However, we provide a high-visibility 2-stage powder coating for cosmetic purposes and to aid in usage in low-light scenarios. Given the severity of the environment and the tools involved this powder coating will be damaged. These chips and scratches can be touched up with paint or left untreated as desired with no effect on the performance of the component.Fasteners
To ensure high-strength performance we use all grade 8.8 fasteners on the Hi-Lift Shackle. These are treated with a 3-stage OE-grade coating for maximum corrosion protection (1,000+ hr salt spray test certification).Weight- 12.5 lbs (Installed)
