Trooper XT features our new SideLoader Drop-Down Tire Carriers mounted on high-strength dual swing arms with double shear hinge points for durable, reliable, long-life performance. Removing and remounting a large, heavy off-road tire from a tire carrier can be a challenge even on a dry, flat surface. Add mud, loose sand, or uneven surfaces and some fatigue and that can quickly become dangerous. If you are injured it can become impossible. Our SideLoader Drop-Down Tire Carrier brings the heavy tire down to ground level for a safe and easy tire change. Can be used manually or with power-assist to give you controlled access to the heaviest piece of gear we all wrestle with on the trail (or even on the side of the road). And this certainly much safer than getting the spare off the roof and keeping the heavy tires off the roof rack provides improved center of gravity for safer off-road vehicle performance.
